Why a law office is different
The crew is there when nobody else is.
A firm's cleaning crew walks past client files at night. The controls belong in writing, not in trust.
We clean reception, conference rooms, private offices, kitchens and break areas, restrooms, glass doors and interior windows, and empty the ordinary trash and recycling, all after hours. What we don't do is just as important for a firm: we don't read, copy, move or remove documents, we don't empty shred consoles or handle anything meant for shredding, and desks covered with papers are left as they are.
What the agreement covers
Access, people and photos, in writing.
- Access. You authorize access only to the areas and the time needed for your scope. Keys, cards and codes are safeguarded, used only for your service, and returned or invalidated when the service ends. The crew locks up and re-arms the alarm where you instruct.
- People. Service is provided by JCIL, not by any one individual. Everyone assigned to your office is identity-verified and background-checked before assignment, cannot hand the work to anyone we haven't approved, and JCIL stays responsible for the work.
- Photos. Before-and-after photos of the areas cleaned are taken for quality control and stored privately. They are never published without your written consent, and the crew avoids photographing people and documents.
Everyone who works in your office has passed a background check before working on a JCIL site.
Rooms clients see
Reception and conference rooms, reset for the morning.
Clients judge a firm by the reception area and the conference room long before they read a brief. Those are the rooms where an overnight visit shows most: seating and tables wiped, glass walls and doors cleaned, chairs reset around the table, the coffee station left clean and the trash gone. Whiteboards and anything left on the table are a choice your firm makes once, at the walkthrough, and the crew follows it every night.
Your side of it
What the firm keeps locked.
Locked file rooms or cabinets the crew doesn't enter, a clear-desk habit, locked screens and locked shred consoles do more for confidentiality than any cleaning contract. Tell us at the walkthrough which rooms are off-limits and they go into the written scope as excluded.
How the Massachusetts professional conduct rules apply to a cleaning vendor is a question for your ethics counsel. The practical controls, room by room, are in our guide law firm office cleaning and confidentiality.
How it works
One written scope, one monthly price.
Offices are cleaned after hours, in our overnight window, so your team never works around us. Our overnight shift runs 10pm–2am.
JCIL is insured. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
Office cleaning is month to month. Cancel with 30 days' written notice.
Founding clients: our first 10 commercial clients get the initial deep clean included. The benefit never depends on a review.
Questions we get
Can some offices be off-limits?
Yes. Rooms you don't want entered are written into the scope as excluded, and the crew doesn't go in.
Do you shred documents or empty shred bins?
No. Shredding stays with your shredding vendor. We empty only ordinary trash and recycling.
Can we ask for a person to be removed from our account?
Tell us. JCIL assigns and substitutes the people on your account and stays responsible for the service.
How is the price set?
From the space we measure at a free walkthrough and the nights you choose, as one monthly price. See how the price is built.
